Plant Growth and Changes Unit | Paper and Digital
This unit includes all of our plant growth and changes lessons and activities. Most of the lessons require just moments to prep but will have students working for hours. Topics included are plant uses, needs, parts and functions, life cycles, seed dispersal, and propagation.
This plant unit includes:
- complete lesson plans with suggestions for differentiation.

- Plant Communities: how plants live in different environments.
- Observation Journal: a simple journal to use for plant growth observations.

- Reading Passages: ten passages for students to use in place of textbooks.

- Plant Inspired Art Projects: nine art projects with complete lesson plan instructions, student photographs, and reflection pages in English and French.
- Plant Cell: a simple diagram to learn about plant cells.
Ninja Note: No plants or seeds are included with this unit. You need to have access to plants for some of the activities.
