This set is included in our aligned bundles: Alberta Time and Measurement, Alberta Full Year, BC Time and MeasurementBC Full Year, Saskatchewan Time and Measurement, and Saskatchewan Full Year.

This easy-to-use resource includes:

  • 15 different pages about the length of time activities take or whether they are done in the AM or PM. Time referents for seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years are compared to common activities. Students do not need to know how to read clocks to complete these pages.
  • questions about different amounts of time. For example: how many seconds are in one minute?
  • pages that can easily be used as assessments.
  • four pages of word problems.
  • answer keys or suggested answers for all 15 pages.
  • Canadian/British spellings and metric measurements.
  • SI Notation, so numbers are written with spaces between place values instead of commas. (Example: 86 000 instead of 86,000).

This set aligns with:

  • Alberta Mathematics Curriculum Grade 3 ©2022
  • British Columbia Mathematics Curricular Competencies Grade 3
