Free Weather KWL Chart | Paper and Digital
Free Weather KWL Chart | Paper and Digital
Use this basic chart to kick off your unit about weather by asking your students what they already know and what they want to learn. Twelve possible weather topics (and a blank one) are included so you can see how much your students have to learn (or how smart they already are).
This resource is part of our Weather Unit.
This is the perfect activity when you want to start your weather unit but don't have the rest prepared. It also makes a great activity to leave with a substitute teacher.
This no-prep resource includes:
- 3 pages of KWL charts (each page is different so you can differentiate by topics or write your own)
- instructions on how to use a KWL chart before and after your weather unit.
- a digital version with loose text that can be read by your assistive technology.
This resource supports:
- any upper elementary or middle school weather unit
