We gathered our favourite winter activities into one bundle that will make your kids think they are having fun, but they are actually thinking and working with a fun winter theme. This is a great addition to your classroom during winter, especially if you're looking for themed activities that are not Christmas.
Winter Puzzles, Games and Activities:
- word games that develop skills such as alphabetizing, word finds, brainstorming, designing and similes, Sudoku, and letter codes.
- 5 logic puzzlers that use logic skills and deductive reasoning to solve puzzles.

- 15 different writing prompts organized so students can choose between expository, persuasive and narrative styles over five days.

- a Google Slides version for most of the activities. Some design challenges are difficult digitally, so they have been adapted or aren't digital.
Winter Types of Sentences includes:
- a detailed lesson plan on the types of sentences. Students will learn about interrogative, exclamatory, declarative and imperative statements along with different types of punctuation used for each type of sentence.
- three different versions of student interactive notebook templates. One version does not require cutting and pasting. This page can be used as a reference page in your language arts books.
- photographs of templates completed by students to use as examples.
- 24 winter phrases to review the different types of sentences (task cards).
- task cards that come in colour or ink-saving paper options, a Google Slides version and a Google Forms version which is self-grading. There are detailed instructions to use each format.
- two versions of an easy-to-use answer recording page so you can differentiate for your students.
