Canada Quick Research Project | Paper

Give your students a chance to search the internet by searching for facts about Canada in this quick research project disguised as a challenge. It's perfect for those days when you need something quick and don't have time to plan.

It has been classroom tested with students in grades four and five and many students loved the challenge which took most students about two hours to complete. 

You could have students use this task independently or as a station during your guided reading. We used it as a last-minute task when we needed to call a supply teacher. 

This activity was designed for Canadian students, but it can be used in any country to learn more about the Great White North. It contains Canadian spellings.
